Blue Ribbon Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar a located in Palisades Village in Pacific Palisades, CA. Inspired by the original restaurant, created over 25 years ago in Soho NYC by master sushi chef Toshi Ueki and Chef Brothers Eric & Bruce Bromberg, this cedar clad new comer offers outstanding Japanese cuisine based in tradition and passion. Chef Lee leads his team in sourcing and preparing the finest fish and shellfish from The Sea of Japan, Local waters and beyond. A curated and adventurous beverage list featuring Blue Ribbon's own sake selections as well as favorites from their travels and discoveries in Japan is rounded out by a selection of house cocktails, Japanese micro brews and wines from California and Europe.

Dine inside with clear view of Chef Lee and his team working away at the sushi bar or under the jasmin lined trellis looking onto the Palisades Village park. Our menu features traditional nigiri, sashimi and chef-crafted maki rolls alongside shareable small plates or 'zensai', daily specials and our stunning and creative omakase platters.

Signature menu items include an array of A5 wagyu steaks, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna & Truffle Sauce, Spicy Bean Sprout Salad and of course Blue Ribbon's world renowned Fried Chicken with Wasabi Honey!

Bruce and Eric Bromberg

Bruce and Eric Bromberg have been guiding forces in the culinary world for over 20 years. Family trips to the South of France fostered the Brothers' appreciation for French cuisine, which blossomed in their studies at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. However, this was only the beginning of the Brombergs' culinary journey, which later brought them to some of the most talked about American kitchens.

Together they seamlessly melded their French expertise with their American roots to create the original Blue Ribbon in 1992. Here they served what they liked to eat—an eclectic range of foods—in a room they wanted to be in— casual, unfussy and welcoming. The industry soon followed and Blue Ribbon became the place for chefs, restaurateurs and loads of happy guests.

Since Blue Ribbon's inception, Bruce and Eric have showcased their passion for and skill with a range of cuisines from sushi to bakeries to fried chicken.
